#PANSOC 1.2 Mile Overwatch/ELR Shooter Training. 7 of my souljas showed up, none of them had any ELR experience. We were using a 7 pound hunting rifle, while rifles meant to shoot this far generally weigh 18 to 30 lbs to minimize the recoil produced by high caliber rounds. It was raining heavy with heavy winds the whole time we were there, along with heavy fog so we couldn't even see most of our shots. Definitely not an ideal day for long range shooting. And yet all 8 of us hit the 1 mile 2' X 4' human size target rather quickly, several even on our first try. And several of us even hit the 18 inch diameter MOA Target at 1 mile as well along with the 2,050 yard (1.2 mile) human size 2' X 4' target. We didn't capture footage of every shot but we got plenty of them nonetheless.
