This otherwise "routine" (no procedure is ever routine!!) clear cornea (hard nucleus) cataract phaco procedure completed with an Acrysof-IQ IOL implantation procedure became somehow "exciting" when the bulb from the IOL haptic appeared to get trapped in the posterior capsule following implantation, unfolding and during the final positioning manipulations. Watch how it created a "crease" seen above the IOL margin (surgeons view)-not making this observation has resulted in my previous experience: capsular tear and need for further measures. making this key observation saved the day!
