Here's my cover of the notoriously terrible quality mysterious song known as “Lostwave August 2019”, or “LWA19” for short. Originally uploaded by a Reddit user named ‘IntelligentBread5’ on 11th August 2019 on r/Lostwave. He claimed to have bought a tape at a market 11 years previously, probably in the North of England. LWA19 was on this tape. The quality was abysmal. Various theories and questions came as interest in the tape peaked. However, ‘IntelligentBread5’ deleted their Reddit account before any answers could be found. Since then, various people have been committed to trying to find the original audio source of LWA19. Credit to ‘EvanC015’ for suggesting this cover, and to ‘Antonio's Remastered works’ for providing slightly better-quality versions to use as a basis for my cover. And a huge thank you to everyone in The Lost Search Discord for helping with lyrics and feedback along the way. I have spent hours interpreting the lyrics as best as I can. They may not entirely make sense in places, but I wanted to keep them sounding as close to the original as possible. My main hope is that this better-quality version of the song might spark some more interest in LWA19 and maybe someone will recognise the original song and point us to the original artist.
