Using basic tools, some WD-40, and 2-part body filler (like the kind used for car bodywork), I restored it without welding or fiberglass sheets. 🧰 What I used: Wire brush (manual and drill) WD-40 Laundry detergent & toothbrush 2-part body filler (automotive grade) Glass fibers (mixed into the filler for added strength) Sandpaper Spray paint 🔧 Step-by-step: Remove loose rust with a wire brush Apply WD-40 to break down deeper corrosion Scrub clean with detergent and water Dry the surface Mix and apply body filler + glass fibers to patch the hole Let it cure, then sand it smooth Paint for protection and finish No welding. No fiberglass sheets.
