Google pixel 8 Pro was released a year ago. Pixel 8 pro release price was was very high at that time mostly people criticized its over priced but now it's selling for half what it was originally released making it a very compaling option and a good value for money device. Today we will deep dive to see whether pixel 8 Pro is worth buying in 2025. Wether you should buy this phone in Pakistan, we will discuss following topics in details. Design: Pixel 8 pro is a very premium looking and well built phone with unique design and Google camera visor look which makes it look very premium still to date. As it is a premium device so it is made with premium materials having a metallic frame and gorilla glass victus 2 on the front and back. It comes with a flat display which makes it more durable and practical. Display: Google pixel 8 Pro features a 6.7 inch OLED display with the resolution near to quad HD and a refresh rate of 120 hz supporting LTPO tech which means it can switch from 1 hz to 120 hz depending upon what's playing on the display. It has a peak brightness of 2400 nits which makes it very bright even in outdoor conditions under bright sun. It has pixel density of 489ppi which makes it very sharp. Fingerprint: Google pixel 8 pro has in display optical fingerprint scanner which is not the best available but it works pretty fine with good unlocking speed and accuracy but if Google manage to offer ultrasonic fingerprint scanner that will be a good upgrade. Battery life: Pixel 8 pro has 5050 mah battery. It is powered by Google's tensor G3 processor which is optimised by Google and 120 hz LTPO display consumes minimal battery. On device running A.I algorithms consumers battery in background but still it manages to give decent battery life with 6-7 hours screen on time on normal use. Speakers: Pixel 8 pro has two stereo speakers one in the bottom and other in the ear piece, audio quality on pixel 8 Pro is decent with good vocals base and volume speakers are not as loud as other Flagship devices like s24 ultra and 16 pro max. but it still manages to offer a good balance of loudness base and clarity. Performance: Pixel 8 pro has Google tensor G3 processor which is a nona core CPU with maximum clock speed of 3 Ghz. It has 12 GB RAM and storage of UFS 3.1 which is the biggest down side of pixel 8 Pro because currently its competitor has ufs 4 storage which is almost double fast in terms of speed. So performance on pixel 8 Pro is good but it is not compareable with other flagship devices so if performance is your main concern don't buy pixel 8 Pro instead go for s24 ultra or iPhone 16 pro Max. Camera: Camera is the main highlight of Google pixel 8 Pro because mostly people by pixel phones for its remarkable camera so 8 pro has a triple camera setup with 50 megapixel maim camera, 48 megapixel ultra wide and 48 megapixel 5x telephoto zoom camera. camera setup and hardware on pixel 8 Pro is very promising, in terms of photography it deliver excellent pictures with good details and dynamic range making it top device for photography but it is unable to shoot portrait shots with its 5x camera which is a biggest bummer.
