(19 Jan 1996) The time allowed for Mujahedeen troops to leave Bosnia under the terms of the Dayton agreement expired on Friday (19/1). The Mujahadeen fought on the Bosnian government side during the war in the former Yugoslavia. Under the terms of the Dayton agreement, the estimated 3,000 fighters would leave the region within 30 days of the accord's signing in Paris in December. But some of the Mujahedeen, have become a law unto themselves and are unwilling to leave. The Mujahedeen are believed to have come from various Islamic countries and feel loyalty only to the Muslim cause.
