President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to embark on a two day visit to Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape. This as part of an oversight visit where he is expected to engage the Provincial government, and also visit the Port of Ngqurha, which is one of South Africa's newest deep-water harbours, that is designed for high-efficiency container handling and large vessels. It is also strategically aligned with the Coega Special Economic Zone and positioned as a key trans-shipment hub for Southern Africa.
