In today’s Travis County hearing, prosecutors and defense attorneys are asking State District Judge Dayna Blazey to declare four original suspects innocent: Michael Scott, Robert Springsteen, Maurice Pierce and Forrest Welborn. Austin police linked the murders to serial killer Robert Eugene Brashers using DNA evidence and officials say he acted alone.
