MVC3 Mugen Survival Run #21: Jiren

As the Tournament of Power begins, Jiren takes on the strongest opponents he comes across to prevent the erasure of his universe. A well-crafted and powerful fighter, Jiren is an excellent character. He takes the role of a heavy-hitting tank that can use various command grabs, powerful physical strikes, and devastating attacks to overwhelm your opponents. While he may be slow, his attacks feel heavy and his normals are a bit different, as the light normals are like mediums, mediums control like heavies, and heavy normals are like special attacks on their own. His hyper combos are pretty cool, as they’re both powerful and stylish. He feels like a boss character and I love it. One gripe though, is that sometimes his moves will glitch out the opponent and make them freeze in midair when you KO them, causing you to reset the match when that happens, so be on the lookout for that. Other than that, he’s super fun to use. If you want an awesome Dragon Ball character in your roster, he’s your pick.
