In Baja Trippin Episode 5 I wake up on my third and final day in Bahia Magdalena Baja California Sur on a beautiful fall morning Sunday November 7th 2021 (Dalight Savings Time End). After failing again to get Johnson 2-Stroke engine running on the Mako 22 center console boat I went back to the house and loaded up my Solo Skiff to go out fishing Mag Bay Mexico in hopes of catching some grouper, yellowtail, sierra, barracuda and whatever else is swimming around in the water on the troll. I pull my Solo Skiff down the dirt roads of San Carlos (there are no paved roads in the town) to my own private little launch area and set out the 20 miles across Mag Bay to La Boca (the mouth) where my friend Jorge told me about fishing close to the rocks / boiler rocks and trolling short billed rapala style lures. When I finally get out to La Boca I start trolling hard and land some sierra mackerel, yellowtail, barracuda and finally a prized broadtail grouper. I am stoked and go to make my way in but am running low on gas. Some amazing awesome local commercial fisherman syphon some gasoline into my Solo Skiff 3 gallon external tank and I'm able to make the ride back to the house.
