Overall leaderboard: leaderboard.steepcommunity.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry that some of the clips and music is bad quality, I spent a while making this and i tried my best but theres only so much i can do :/ also these songs are just picked out of my personal playlists so kinda explains the weird choices/ mixture of songs and i wanted to put in songs that helped me through the grind. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How? What? Why?: So... this took quite a while to say the least. The idea of even getting close to achieving this didnt even come to me until early last year, as when covid hit i had a lot more free time to return to some of these challenges which i hadnt touched in months or years. A huge rivalry and grind for these wrs took place from then on, with some harsh competition (basically just Skelly) where almost all of the pre 2020 wrs were destroyed and many new routes and strats were discovered, until June where i was able to finally for the first time hold all of the cross platform proximity wrs simultaneously, yet this only held up for a single day when i was pretty quickly beaten on many challenges by skelly, and for the rest of the year my record count only decreased. Until early december, activity had slowed down a fair amount and i was tied with skelly at 14 proximity records. At this point i decided to make a proximity leaderboard sheet documenting the top 4 scores on each challenge to try and motivate myself to improve and possibly reclaim the title . During this second grind was when the majority of the current wrs were set, with only 3 wrs currently having been set before the 1st of December. This huge grind came to an end February 8th, where i beat Byblast on hold my can for the final 29th record and i was finally complete again :) Honestly though it has been a really chill and fun grind with friendly competition, i especially gotta give props to skelly who was my main competitor who currently still holds the 2nd best score on 21 of these challenges. Also thanks to anyone else who was there alongside me on the grind, i really wouldnt have been able to do it without some of you.
