All-New Mazda6 Review--NOW WITH A TURBO

The Mazda6 might just be the best car that nobody considers when shopping for a mid-sized car. The Camry and Accord dominate the market and to compete Mazda has added some nice features to its 5-passenger mid-sized sedan. The base 2.5L 4-cylinder engine has 187hp but has the ability now to run on only two cylinders for more efficiency. The upgraded engine found on the GS-L, GT and Signature trim is the same engine found in the larger XC-9 utility. This engine puts out 227hp on regular gas and 250hp on premium with 310lb.-ft. of torque. The power torque comes on with a swoosh, similar to a diesel engine. Handing has been refined, the cabin is quieter and the interior is more upscale on the Signiture trim. The in-dash technology is a larger 8-inch unit and later this year Apple Car Play and Android Auto will be added. The all-new Mazda6 comes with standard blindspot monitoring, cross traffic alert and low speed autonomous braking. The other trims get the full suite of advanced driver assists.
