If you currently own a Graco Fusion ClearShot spray foam gun, you already know about this tool’s impressive reliability. Graco has included a self-cleaning mechanism in the gun that applies a small amount of fluid to the nozzle every time the trigger is pulled. This reduces maintenance requirements, but it’s still important to give the gun a thorough cleaning occasionally. Follow These Disassembly Steps as You Clean Your Graco ClearShot Gun: Start by removing the coupling block with a 5/16” nut driver Next, remove the filters from the coupling block Remove the screens from the filters and clean Back to the gun itself, remove the gun cover and replace as needed Take out the check valves next Remove the A and B side seals (it’s important to do this now to avoid scratching the mix chamber) You can now remove the fluid head off the gun and the mix chambers should come right out Now you’re ready to check the side seal assembly — remove the Graco Fusion Gun’s O-rings to clean the spring and ball inside the side seals Once you remove the fluid head, pay attention to the O-rings and clean or replace as needed To continue cleaning your gun, remove the safety cap off the back Push the air piston from the front towards the back Inside is another air piston Last, but not least, don’t forget to clean the trigger pin Remember that IDI is always by your side to provide assistance for your spray gun maintenance needs.
