Global partnerships are a key goal in sustainable development. Multi-stakeholder partnerships among countries, communities, and people help us address issues of equity and access within the sustainability framework. How can Sweden and India partner towards achieving Global Goals? As the recent Covid-19 pandemic showed, we cannot achieve Sustainable Development Goals in silos. Strong global partnerships are needed. People, industry and nations must collaborate, co-create and cooperate as partners to ensure that innovation and sustainable development impacts all of humankind positively. Previous seminars of Engaging India at Almedalen have shown the potential of partnerships in the areas of circularity, clean energy, water, housing, and sustainable food systems. Taking these learnings forward, the closing seminar of Engaging India at Almedalen invites representatives from the government, industry and academia from Sweden and India, to share their learnings and explore ways to collaboratively innovate for solving planetary challenges under the theme of ‘The World is One Family’. Participants: Opening address:, H.E. Klas Molin, Ambassador of Sweden to India Per Arne Wikström, Head, Office of Science & Innovation, Embassy of Sweden. New Delhi Viral Thakker, Partner, Deloitte India Raine Isaksson, Docent & Associate Professor, Uppsala University Sujith Nair, Co-founder & CEO, Beckn Foundation Erik Gutwasser, Division President Nordics & Baltics, Mastercard Joachim Lindborg, CTO, Sustainable Innovation Rupali Mehra, Founder, Content People AB, Moderator Session wrap-up:, Professor Emeritus Owe Ronström, Dr Swaminathan R
