Bobbie arrives at the penthouse to see the newly returned Carly. Bobbie asks how she is and Carly says she's fine. She asks about Michael and Carly explains that she left him in Martinique with Leticia since things were still unresolved with Sonny. Bobbie questions why Sonny isn't home. Carly is sure Sonny will return, but Bobbie is doubtful. Carly remains determined. Bobbie urges Carly to start making a life from herself away from Sonny. Carly responds that she's not one to give up, just like Bobbie wouldn't give up on Roy. Bobbie surprises Carly by revealing that she has given up on Roy. She thinks Roy used Carly to hurt Sonny. Carly tries to explain that Roy was a reluctant participant that was trying to help. Bobbie doesn't buy it. She thinks she's finally seeing Roy clearly and she wishes Carly would do the same with Sonny.
