2026-03-03 Daily Challenge | osu!Lazer

Today's daily challenge is another 2026 map ranked 16 days ago (February 14th, 2026). The last Senya map we have was on January 13th, 2026 (   • 2026-01-13 Daily Challenge | osu!Lazer  ). It is the first track of the album 魂の語りに導かれて, released on August 14, 2015 during Comiket 88 (Catalog ID YHST-0055). This song is a rearrangement of Touhou's Komachi Onozuka's theme, 彼岸帰航　～ Riverside View (Higan Kikou ~ Riverside View), that was part of Touhou's 9th game, 東方花映塚　～ Phantasmagoria of Flower View (Touhou Kaeizuka ~ Phantasmagoria of Flower View). The melody is very familiar, to a point that same theme can be recognized in another arrangement popular by Halozy called Genryuu Kaiko. Guided by the voice of my own soul, I full send this map with HDHR and surprisingly did better than I originally thought. The map is deceptively difficult with ar8.5 (alleviated a it with AR10 from using Hard Rock). There are additional curved and jittering bursts that require a bit more of a controlled aim. I still can see a lot of hesitation with commiting to hitting a note. With the lower BPM, there's a decent amount of leeway to decide on hitting it.
