In this video you will see Andhra’s Authentic cuisine and how we spent our first day in Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), we explored local breakfast, lunch and dinner and also visited Kailasgiri hill and enjoyed second half of the day there. Following are the activities we did on our second day of this tour(7 jan). We started our day from a landmark location of visakhapatnam which is Jagdamba Crossing. Breakfast at Venkatadri Vantillu Restaurant for breakfast - They serve authentic Andhra food in breakfast and meals at this restaurant is also famous Sponge dosa with ghee karam - Rs70 Karam powder basically means Karam Podi /Idli Karam podi is a special podi which is made by roasting the lentils on low flame. In the sweet dish we had sweet pongal - Rs 50. After having breakfast we headed towards our hotel as there was a subscriber meet up in the hotel. The Spicy Venue Restaurant lunch MLA Potlam biryani - Rs 410, this is a unique style to serve biryani ( they wrap it inside omelette) MLA Potlam Biryani - The biryani stuffed inside the thin, golden-yellow omelet is also not your regular biryani, it is brimming with the goodness of juicy mutton keema and spicy prawns. The omelet is made in a heavy kadhai and seasoned with red chili powder. Once cooked, it is carefully scraped out and placed on a plate, the biryani is placed right in the center and the edges are folded and the entire omelet is used to nicely wrap the biryani. This ‘wrap’ is then served hot with a spicy curry or salan and raita. We Also had Apricot Delite in sweet - Rs 157. In kailasagiri hill we enjoyed toy train ride the price for toy train ride are as follows- AC Adults - Rs 150 AC Child - Rs 100 Non AC Adults - Rs 100 Non AC Child - Rs80 In returning from kailasagiri we took ropeway which costs - Rs 80(single side) , Rs - 150 (for to and fro) Later that evening we went to daspalla hotel for dinner where we had Pesarattu Dosa( made of moong dal) - Rs 100 Filter coffee - Rs 53 Daspalla is a famous hotel of vizag, they have couple of restaurant specialising into different cuisine.
