The steering has an ideal, slightly light feel and includes a CITY mode like Fiat's, and the gearshift has a standard feel. -Confort: 8,0/10 The suspension is comfortable and the seats are well-designed. There's plenty of headroom in the lowest position of the front seats, and good legroom. The steering has a CITY mode and the column is adjustable for height and reach, which also contributes to comfort. -Engine performance: 6,5/10 These 90 hp naturally aspirated engines are sufficient in the city but somewhat sluggish on highways and freeways. Without a turbocharger, you have to find the power in the higher rev range (4000-6000 rpm). The gear ratios, which are VERY long, also contribute to this; for example, in 3rd gear it can reach 140 km/h. -Fuel consuption: 8,0/10 Opel proves that you don't need a tiny turbocharged engine with very low displacement to be fuel-efficient. This 1.4-liter engine can achieve an average fuel consumption of 6.0-6.5 liters per 100 km without being particularly gentle with the accelerator, which is quite good, and on the highway at cruising speeds of 100 km/h it gets around 5 liters per 100 km. -Build quality: 8,5/10 For its segment, it's very well built. Everything is assembled with typical Opel quality; the door panels, although hard, feel high-quality, and the dashboard is padded on top. The only thing that doesn't quite convince is the piano black plastic in the middle of the dashboard, which scratches just by looking at it. -Price/what you get ratio: 8,5/10 It's a good option as a city car, with an engine that's fuel-efficient despite being a naturally aspirated engine like the old-school ones. Its resale value is currently high considering what the car cost when it was new; some units are selling for the same price they were 10 years ago.
