The short sleeve button down shirt: one of my spring/summer essentials and in this video, I am going to show you how to look great in one. Now I know some guys feel a certain way about these shirts and I don’t understand why really, I mean it’s the exact the same thing as wearing a long sleeve button down but minus the long sleeves. And don’t get me wrong; I love my long sleeve button down shirts too. It looks great, especially when you roll up the sleeves. But when the weather heats up, rolled up sleeves isn’t going to cut it. We need some ventilation going on, which is why we pull out the short sleeve button down. And I think the reason most men are afraid of going short sleeve is because they see other guys wearing them like this and think they are going to look the same wearing one. If you’re one of those guys then hey not knocking you, I think we can do better here and it’s also great that you are watching this video because that means you are open to short sleeve shirts. To start off, it’s all about the fit. I’m sure you heard the overused phrase “fit is king” time and time over again but I’m coining the phrase “fit over everything” for this channel. So Let’s start it off with the most unappealing part of a bad fitting shirt and that is the sleeves. You want to pay attention to where the sleeve ends and most importantly, the width of your sleeve. A good general guideline is to make sure the sleeves sits right about mid-bicep level. As for the width, make sure it fits close to your arm but have just enough room to help you move. Wearing anything too long or too baggy is not going to do your body any favors. It’s going to make your arms look punier and just mess with your proportions. Next is the length of your shirt. If you’re planning on wearing your shirt untucked then make sure that the hem ends somewhere between mid crotch. If you can see a couple of inches of the fly area, then you’re good to go. Next torso: Pay attention to where the seam ends on your shoulders and make sure the placket/buttons do not look like they are about to burst. ▹ SUBSCRIBE: https://goo.gl/wk95Lk ▹ INSTAGRAM: https://goo.gl/t3Rpsv ▹ BUSINESS INQUIRIES: Rsanchezinquiry@gmail.com ▹ MOST RECENT UPLOAD: https://goo.gl/T61Wrp ▹My Recommended Stores/Discount Codes -Amazon (Supports Channel): https://amzn.to/2Q5uS1g -Yeabarron Custom Clothing (Code:Astyle20): https://amzn.to/2UEVpna Million Dollar Collar (code: AS15): http://bit.ly/2UeXw59 -Beckett Simonon (Code: Assembled): http://bit.ly/2N9euPx -Mtailor (20% off first shirt): https://goo.gl/LV7rpe -Separatec Underwear (20% off Code: “AS20”): https://goo.gl/Q4xAJc -Tiege Hanley (20% Off your First Order): https://bit.ly/2ucNVgC
