This video is going to focus on the trim sizes available through Barnes and Noble Press. It's designed to complement my primary video about trim sizes, which you can find linked in the description. It's recommended you watch that video first for broader context on how to choose the right trim size, what trim size means, and industry norms. This video is tailored specifically for those who wish to understand Barnes and Noble's trim size options. Also, before we start, I'd like to remind you to sign up for the free Self-Publishing Success Secrets video course, a comprehensive guide to self-publishing your book online. If the course isn't available yet, it's launching soon, so keep an eye out. Now let's get down to business. This page here provides a glimpse into the trim sizes available on Barnes and Noble Press. It's a little tricky as the trim sizes are not explicitly stated. You'll find them on the 'Create your print book cover template' page. Here, I'll put in a random page count, say 100, which then allows me to select a page size—essentially, the trim size. As I scroll, you'll notice the variety of trim sizes they offer: 4x6, 4.25x7, 4.37x7, 5x8, 5.06x7.81, 5.25x8, 5.5x8.25, 5.5x8.5, 5.83x8.27, 6x9, 6.14x9.21, 7x10, and more. If you're self-publishing through IngramSpark, it's important to note that you don't necessarily need to deal directly with Barnes and Noble. IngramSpark will distribute your book to Barnes and Noble as part of its service. But if you're looking to self-publish exclusively through Barnes and Noble or you're using KDP and want to include Barnes and Noble, you'll need to be aware of these trim sizes. However, if you're using IngramSpark, you can bypass this step because all the trim sizes available on IngramSpark will be transferred over to Barnes and Noble. For specific trim sizes for KDP or IngramSpark, I've provided links below to my other videos. Ensure you fully understand trim sizes and how to select one by watching the comprehensive trim size video in the description. I hope you find this information useful. If you have any questions, drop them in the comments. Don't forget to share and like this video, and I'll see you in the next one.
