"Hi, I'm Angelique Berens. I'm a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon here at The Everett Clinic. I was inspired to go into medicine pretty early on in my undergraduate career. My background in healthcare started after completing my undergraduate education in Michigan. I then went to medical school in Detroit. Afterwards, I came out to the Pacific Northwest to the University of Washington to complete my residency in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery. After completion of residency, I went straight to the University of California in Los Angeles and did a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. My practice focuses on melding ENT with facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. So whether that be skin cancer treatment and reconstruction or sinus disease, which accompanies a rhinoplasty. I also do gender confirmation surgery in my practice that encompasses everything above the shoulders in the form of facial feminization. After the specialized surgery that a patient receives, they get amazing care by our nursing team and they get told what to expect and that along the way they get walked through the process. What I'm most passionate about is making sure the patient feels like they have value from the visit and make sure that all their concerns are heard and that they're comfortable with the treatment option. I practice here at The Everett Clinic because of my partners and the team in which I work. I feel that patients really just get amazing care.
