Ten years ago, a man found himself on top of a hill in the ger districts of Ulaanbaatar, looking at beautiful skyscrapers far in the distance. However, down below him, he saw a basin filled with trash and rainwater. Having just arrived from Korea after three years of labor, he was inspired to transform the dump. The once trash-filled basin has now become a public park in which children skate during the winter and boat during the summer.
