KSRTC Kadal yathra is a new tour program initiated by Chalakkudy ksrtc depot. Kadalyathra is a full day program starts at 8 AM from Chalakkudy ksrtc stand, covering Kuzhippalli beach, vallarppadam church, marine drive and the highlight program 'Kadal yathra' which is a two hour sea boating on Sagararani cruise vessel, conducted by KSINC. Kadalyathra tour package charge is 650 per head including the Sagararani boating. Food is not included in the package. This package is worth to try as it offers unlimited fun as a group during bus trip ans boating. kadalyathra is first of its kind in the history of ksrtc, all the credits to KSRTC department for such a great initiative. Kadalyathra package is available only on Sundays as of now, two buses available every Sunday from Chalakkudy, it will start at 8:00 AM, it will reach back Chalakkudy by 7:00PM. This is the very first trip of the KSRTC kadal yathra program, on 21st November Sunday. We started around 8:30 AM, and spent more than an hour at Kuzhippilli beach, then to Vallarppadam church and had lunch from there. Then moved on to marine drive and to the Sagararani trip. (Finally kadal yathra started ). It was an awesome boating in the sea and there were lot of programs arranged by Sagararani, you Will get some snacks and fruity as well. Once the boating is done you can spend some time there at marine drive before you get into the ksrtc back to Chalakkudy.
