Mazda MX-5 / Miata ND Review on a Twisty Mountain Road - Match made in Heaven

Even though it's some five years old now, the fourth-gen Mazda MX-5 (also known as the ND) has aged really well and driving one in 2021 is even more of a treat than when it was launched. There is literally not a single car on the market that even comes close to offering a similar experience - probably a Toyota GT86 or the new GR86, but those don't come as drop tops, or the Mini Cooper S Cabrio, which is front-wheel drive. There is no better way to enjoy an MX-5 (any generation) than on a mountain road. I took my MX-5 Takumi 2.0 tester to my favorite mountain road close to Bucharest and let it rip around some tight corners.
