They often jump into the car when the car door is opened and due to their small size, they can elude searches... assuming that you saw the critter jump into the car in the first place. If undetected, the frog may either dry out and die or bake to death on hot summer days. Otherwise, they may startle the driver and pose a risk to the driver, passengers, pedestrians, bikers and other motorists should the driver lose control at a critical moment. Since I was in the process of washing the car with chemical agents on my hands, I decided that the best method to remove the frog was with a light shower of water. It worked.
