The darkest days of the year are coming, so enjoy our mash up of two Christmas Carols. "Oh come, all ye faithful" is a Christmas carol that has been attributed to various authors. It's original version was called "Adeste Fideles" and has been translated into many languages. The composer of the tune is also unknown. "Hark! The Herald Angels sing" is an English Christmas carol that first appeared in 1739 in the collection Hymns and Sacred Poems. The carol, based on Luke 2:14, tells of an angelic chorus singing praises to God. The music is adapted from "Vaterland, in deinen Gauen" of Felix Mendelssohn's cantata "Festgesang".
