Hey folks! In today’s video we’re back with more Multiplayer Balatro, but this time I challenged my friend Rarran to a Pokemon Nemesis Battle. For this duel, we both start with 4 lives and each of us chose 5 Gen 1 Pokemon and their evolutions to mimic the battles between Ash and Gary. For my Pokemon, I took Lickitung (First and second played Jacks give X1.5 Mult when scored), Staryu (Played Diamond cards give +1 Mult and $1 when scored), Mr. Mime (Retriggers the leftmost card held in hand 3 times), Magnemite (Played Steel cards give X1.5 Mult), and Shellder (which has a 1 in 3 chance to retrigger played cards). Rarran chose Bulbasaur (+1 hand size and Earn $1 for each [rank] held in hand) and Rattata (Retrigger first 2 scored cards 1 additional time) along with Mr. Mime, Magenemite, and Shellder because he can’t help copy off my work. For the match, only these selected Jokers would appear in the shops, but if there are no Pokemon left, our boy Jimbo will appear in the shop instead. Enjoy the video!
