Embark on a stunning 7.5-mile circular adventure across the Shropshire Hills, where history, geology, and breathtaking scenery come together. In this journey, we take on Hope Bowdler Hill Hike | Stunning Shropshire Walk with Views of Caer Caradoc & Brown Clee, showcasing the sweeping landscapes of Caer Caradoc, The Lawley, Brown Clee Hill, Titterstone Clee, and The Wrekin. This hike is extra special, as I also leave a memory stone at the summit of Hope Bowdler Hill in tribute to my friend’s dad, Mike, who sadly passed away from dementia. Shropshire’s volcanic peaks, iron age hillforts, and endless countryside make this walk both scenic and meaningful. 🌄 Hike Details: After parking on the layby just before the start of the trail we make our way up the path around 0.5 mile to some majestic views of the sweeping Shropshire countryside with the prominent Caer Caradoc on the left and Hope Bowdler Hill on the right. The circular hike takes in a few more summits and offers a superb hiking experience in the English countryside. The walk also passes through the pretty village of Cardington where there is a trusty bench to have lunch and a well earned break. There is a vending hut at the start/end of the trail which offers coffee, ice cream and other refreshments with card payment available.
