The wheels are first subjected to an inspection, either by an employee or with the help of automated inspection technology. After the inspection, the wheels are automatically transported to the wheel washing system. There they are cycled into an ultrasonic basin, in which coarse and slightly adhering dirt is effectively soaked and loosened. The wheels are then transported to the final cleaning stage, where they are thoroughly cleaned from above and below with brushes and rinsed with clear water. The final step involves drying with the aid of a radial fan. Once the final cleaning is complete, the wheels are ready for further processing.
