(Wish I'd had some of these newer pics when I was making the slideshow) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wakodah... http://discover.pbcgov.org/waterutili... http://floridabirdingtrail.com/ _____________ One of the hardest birds to identify is the Tricolored Heron, only because there are multiple variations for how it can look, depending on whether it's mating season or not. So you'll see several seemingly different colored birds in this vid that are all identified as Tricolored Herons, but, that's based on nature identification guide books as well as the 'net. Wakodahatchee is free, and open to the public 7 days a week. There are usually people all around when trying to record a video, so there's not much one can do about that. In several vid clips I had to either lower the sound, or briefly mute it altogether due to the very loud, distracting conversation happening directly next to me. And some vids I would have wanted to be longer, but noisy groups of people were approaching, so had to stop recording. Despite that I've still managed to get some interesting and worthwhile footage. This is basically my end-all, be-all Wakodahatchee vid, with all the best of the best vids and pics that I've managed to get. Enjoy. :) (Song during the slideshow at the end is "Freedom" by Jagoa.
