3v Mustang GT 6R80 Swap - US Shift Quick 6 Install! | Part 3 (6R80 Lead Frame Replacement)

In this video we finish up all the odds and ends we need to get the 6R80 3v Mustang swap running! We discovered the range sensor in the 6R80 went bad, so we purchased a new lead frame from Ford (Part # AL3Z-7G276-D) and got it installed. The Mustang is close to moving on it's own power! We're putting the 6 speed automatic into my 08 Mustang GT for a number of reasons. The 6R80 is much stronger than my 5R55S (some have ran 8's in the quarter mile on mostly stock 6R80s). It will shift faster than a 5R can and with the Quick 6 controller I will be able to utilize features like paddle shifters and trans brake. I'll get a 6th gear for better highway cruising mileage.
