We decided to do a challenge to each other and use some sort of embellishment on our garment. Unfortunately Dee ran into all kinds of issues and wasn't able to do it, but she has ideas that she shares! Dory actually liked her make better before the embellishments. We actually included a little surprise to each other this week. Dory made McCall's 7325 out of a print she got on clearance at Hobby Lobby. Very easy pattern and very satisfied with it. Dee made her top from New Look 6298 with fabric she purchased from fabric.com. It turned out way too big (in her opinion) and so she gifted it to Dory. We both think it looks better with leggings and that's how it will get worn. Then there's the Simplicity 2964 from the 1950's that mom made her prom, later to be a relatives wedding dress in Poland. We wish we could fit into it, but let's face it, we are all a bit larger than women were back then! We hoped you enjoyed this weeks video. Thanks for joining us.
