In this episode, we visit Neidpath Castle in Peebles on a beautiful misty, sunlit day. The path along the River Tweed leads us to the old Neidpath Viaduct. We take a morning drive through the hills at sunrise after making a filter coffee. Back home, we get cosy by the wood stove and film colourful sunset clouds with the drone. A little cookie thief is in action before Christmas, while the fire crackles in the house, warming us up after a long walk near Broughton village. On the way to the playground, we throw pebbles into the stream, enjoy some time on the swing — and not quite as much fun on the slide. Finally, we capture some footage of making bejgli, the traditional pastry roll filled with poppy seed and walnut. It wouldn’t be Christmas Eve without it on the table.
