Tropicools was a Charleston, SC band in the 90s that released - to my knowledge - only one album, Rise Above It. I have finally gotten my hands on the CD and am uploading the music in honor of my dad, Bob Tuttle, one of the members of the band. If anyone knows of any other music they put out, please reach out to me, I would be happy to learn about more. Normally this is where most uploaders might say "I do not own any rights" etc, but being that this was copywrited by my father, I... might? At any rate, I have no intention of monetizing any of someone else's work, deceased or otherwise. I am simply uploading this so that it is available to the world. Tropicools were: Jeff Houts - guitar, lead and background vocals Bob Tuttle - drums, lead and background vocals Travis Fordham - keyboards and background vocals Graham Finch - congas Don Moxley - bass guitar At The Marina and Goin' Down to Harry's included background vocals from the Moron Fishing Tackle Choir. Livin' on the Edge included additional background vocals by Annie Purvis and Stacey Barrington. Rise Above It was recorded in July, 1996 in Charleston, SC. The tracklist, including who wrote and performed lead vocals, is as follows: Everything Is Good (Houts) At The Marina (Tuttle) Can You Hold Me? (Houts) Jamaica Me Crazy (Tuttle) Rise Above It (Tuttle) Irie Night (Houts) Livin' on the Edge (Tuttle) Years Go By (Houts) Goin' Down to Harry's (Tuttle)
