►[Hard Mode Only] quests playlist: • Guild Wars: Hard mode only quests ►Titan Quests In the 5 Titan Quests you deal with titans which the Undead Lich unleashing on Tyria. Therefore the completion of Hell's Precipe is required. Your quest giver is Glint's Vision in Droknar's Forge. After completing the whole quest line you get access to [Hard Mode Only] versions of these quests: More foes wait for you, up to level 42, all with fairly improved builds and 1120 to 1360 health points. Enjoy a thrilling challenge! ►General advice for this quest Panic, AoE damage, healers and anti physical hexes will give you a hard time. All of these obstacles can be approached with shutdown. Choose psychic instability, fevered dreams or panic depending on what fits your playing style best. Use hex breaker on as many heroes as possible to counter panic. If playing a physical, bring plenty of additional hex removal skills against empathy, spiteful spirit, insidious parasite, reckless haste, price of failure, blurred vision. The best choice is to have multiple copies of shatter hex, else you may consider using peace and harmony or (as a dervish) playing Avatar of Dwayna. As additional safety measure against a frost titan's AoE damage you should consider playing with an ST prot ritualist or "Save yourselves!". Avoid ritualist and monk healer heroes if possible, as they will be targeted with shame. Unless you trust in your team build and are lazy, consider flagging your heroes apart before every encounter to avoid suffering largely from AoE effects. ►Approach in this video: Dwarves: 00:01 Tasca's Demise: 01:50 Mineral Springs: 04:25 Ryk Arrowspring: 12:10 Trap Spawn: 17:10 Trouble Spawn: 22:00 Eviro Sectus: 27:15 ►Builds used in this video: I'm running out of Winds of Change quests to get a first impression on monk player builds so I checked my quest log and found this. I originally didn't mean to actually finish the quest, it just happened. Then I improved the builds a bit and got used to them so I could do the quest properly. The team: Using the "Finding Jinnai" elementalists with minimal tweaks, but instead of the spirit spam heroes I'm using a shutdown mesmer and a minion master. I strongly recommend that if you do not want to stack mesmers in your team but aren't going for a petway or paraway core either that you bring a shutdown focused mesmer like this. Psychic instability is better at that than panic in many cases. This mesmer, combined with minions and EVAS for distraction, elementalist knock downs and elementalist random rupts, seems to provide enough shutdown to make the team reasonably stable. Large groups of physicals remain a major concern. Hero note 1: In spite of putting arcane mimicry to the RIGHT end of the bar, my elemental attunement hero wound up with another elemental attunement instead of searing flames 9 times (vs. 37 with searing flames) in the original run. It has been replaced with Flare. Hero note 2: Gwen is my first mesmer hero with a staff of soulreaping. I'm happy with the performance so far. Power drain has been replaced with power lock, drain enchantment with shatter enchantment. Fast casting has gone up, less time is spent on disenchanting, rupts are coming in faster and more frequently than ever. And those occasional halved recharge times on psychic instability are too good to be true. The player build: First attempt at a supportless, damage focused Ray of Judgment smiter using the Serpent's Quickness core for an improved EVAS and RoJ output. I'm rather happy with the results. Other player builds I have yet to test that are supportless ranged damage: RoJ/Necrosis, Assassin's Promise with banish and signets.
