Enjoy relaxing nature sounds walking on a forest trail with 12.5 year old beagle silky terrier mix, Willow. Friday, January 9, 2026. It was a windy one today! It was around 59 F and it was just too warm for Willow. She was ready to rest. We did a quick check on the cabin. At about 9 minutes, I saw a piece of ice floating down the creek pretty quickly. As soon as I tried to record it, it got caught up on something. At around 14 minutes, she did a quick chase of a black squirrel up in to a tree. At a little after 19 minutes, I saw a couple deer move around in the brush behind Willow. You can see the white tail on one of them. I was really surprised that they were that close.
