In this video we demonstrate the use of Metal Coatings as well as basic use of cold patinas over the Metal Coatings. Our Metal Coatings may be applied to most paint-able surfaces resulting in a metallic finish that will take a cold patina. Patina solutions such as Tiffany Green or Light Green must be applied to wet Metal Coating in order to develop. Areas with high humidity allow for the best results when creating rich cold patinas. Low humidity will slow the reaction or inhibit it completely. When using cold patinas or metal coatings on large projects or unfamiliar surfaces it is a good idea to run a small test to determine compatibility.
