Canadian actress Jodie Resther is no stranger to the entertainment industry. She would soon develop a career in music, debuting in 1998 with the French single "Partie," followed by her debut album, "Tu Me Fais La Loi." She would later release the follow-up albums "Real" in 2000 and "Ma Dualité" in 2006. Since then, she has mainly stuck with acting. After the release of her debut album, Jodie would sign a deal with Aquarius Records in which she would release her sophomore album, "Real," in June of 2000, which consists of tracks recorded solely in English. She would collaborate with notable Canadian producers for the project, along with opening for TLC and Backstreet Boys on select tour dates to promote it. Despite this, "Real" barely made much noise on the charts and was a commercial flop.
