Adrian Crawford presents this phenomenal RSK recreation, the product of one man's vision and 8 years of painstaking commitment attention to detail and perseverance. Working from 3D scans of an original 718 RSK at a private museum in Germany, this work of art is optically correct compared to an original. The design of the chassis, body and suspension follows that of the original, with the benefits of some more modern techniques and materials that enhance the machine (for example thicker wall tubing and welding for the spaceframe chassis). The body is exquisite, formed by hand over a wooden buck, it follows with accuracy that of the original. What you will immediately notice is the incredible attention to detail throughout. From a rivet to a split pin. It is more than just a car, it is an incredible piece of automotive art. An original RSK (if you could find one for sale), at several millions of pounds, would be almost too precious to drive. This provides a representative driving experience and accurate aesthetics and would be welcomed at events far and wide. An original would have been powered by the complex 4 cam 356 engine, whilst this one has a more reliable and easier to service 2.0 130 hp flat four giving significantly more torque and very lively performance bearing in mind the power to weight ratio. It has proven a massive attraction wherever it is seen and is turn key reliable.
