In this video, we show you how to create and verify (hash) a multi-part disk image in FTK Imager. FTK Imager from AccessData can be downloaded for free from https://accessdata.com/product-download FTK Imager is a disk imaging and basic analysis tool used for digital forensics. It is a relatively easy tool to use, even for beginners. Forensic disk images are bit-by-bit copies of digital storage devices. We verify the integrity of digital forensic images by calculating a hash value of the data. Hashing algorithms normally used in digital forensic investigations are MD5 and SHA1. Other hash values may be used, depending on the legislation in your country (what your court accepts). https://bit.ly/2Ij9Ojc - 👍 Subscribe for weekly videos ❤️ Get early access and bonus content - / dfirscience #ftk #imager #forensics #dfir #windows 010001000100011001010011011000110110100101100101011011100110001101100101 Help make DFIR tutorials 👍 Subscribe → https://bit.ly/2Ij9Ojc 🛒 Shop → https://swag.dfir.science ❤️ Patreon → / dfirscience 🕸️ Blog → https://DFIR.Science 🤖 Code → https://github.com/DFIRScience 🐦 Follow → / dfirscience 📰 DFIR Newsletter → https://bit.ly/DFIRNews 010100110111010101100010011100110110001101110010011010010110001001100101 Tools to manage your YouTube channel: https://www.tubebuddy.com/DFIRScience This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
