By Brompton London to Holland - with my tent - a 2.5 day cycle ride to my friend's birthday party

This was a camping trip on a Brompton folding bike, a leisurely, late-summer ride from London to the Hague. First I rode an easy couple of days through Essex, which was surprisingly gorgeous. I didn't quite make it to the campsite I was aiming for, so found a spot to camp wild. I woke up to a fantastic sunrise, and then pedalled on down the lanes to the coast. At Harwich, I folded up the Brompton, and went on board the night ferry to Hook of Holland, in the Netherlands. The next morning, I could just unfold the bike, and bowl along the sunny beaches on the Dutch coast. I arrived at my schoolfriend Andrea's home in the Hague, tucked my bike and tent in a corner, changed into my posh togs (a rolled-up Little Black Dress fits quite nicely into a pannier), and joined the party 🎉✨ Hope you enjoy the film!
