Fifty four B23 Stock trains have been built. Thirty three are to replace the B90, B92 and B2K Stocks. These trains are now over twenty to thirty years old. B07 stock trains (which entered service in 2008) will remain in service. Unlike traditional 2 car DLR trains, CAF B23s are 5 cars long. These longer trains increase capacity by 10%.
