Modern CIP Lounges & New Services First Look | Karachi Cantt Railway Station

Hello Everyone, I was invited by Pakistan Railways management to explore the newly upgraded passenger facilities at Karachi Cantt Railway Station. My visit included a full review of two CIP lounges with a nominal entry fee. These lounges have elegant furniture, clean interior, and a calm environment. The best part is the window seating that gives a clear railfanning view of platform 1. Along with this, I reviewed two free economy lounges that do not have any entry fee. Their seating setup is almost the same standard as the CIP lounges, which makes them a great option for regular passengers. I also checked the new escalators that will help elderly passengers, people with disabilities, and anyone carrying heavy luggage. Other upgrades include free station wide WiFi, an information desk, an ATM machine, and a self vending ticket machine. I also spoke with the Divisional Superintendent of Karachi Division to get his views on these improvements. These services will open for the public in the coming days as this was a pre launch preview. Overall, the upgraded atmosphere feels refreshing and much needed for passengers traveling through Karachi Cantt. Music by ‪@tellyourstorymusicbyikson‬
