Generator Noise Reduction Box Competition. I made two generator noise reduction boxes or "sound boxes". One sound box is made using 1/2 inch OSB plywood and the other sound box was made using 2" Styrofoam. In this video I do a head to head competition to test the sound reduction capabilities of each sound box. I measured the decibels at zero feet and at 25 feet both at idle and with a load on the generator.
