Inserting the Enlite CGM Sensor with MiniMed D-Force Video

This video introduces the MiniMed D-Force and offers support tips for inserting the Enlite CGM. The MiniMed D-Force may be animated, but they’re voiced by a group of real Medtronic pumpers who participated in the D-Type personality quiz on the Medtronic Diabetes Facebook page. People are so much more than their diabetes and this fun quiz was offered to the Medtronic Diabetes community so people could find out if they are a Busy Bee, Trendsetter, D-tective, Adventurer, or Champion. In this first episode of MiniMed FUNdamentals with the D-Force, Adventurer Ryan learns how to properly secure his CGM transmitter and sensor with the Enlite over tape. When the episode starts, Ryan experiences discrepancies between the readings of is blood glucose meter and his Enlite CGM sensor. After talking to his sister Trendsetter Kelly about the role that proper CGM sensor insertion plays in sensor accuracy, Ryan said he had been diligent about his insertion, even pressing on the bump in the green button on the Enlite serter and being sure to avoid scar tissue. Luckily, Busy Bee Cara was on the scene to remind him about the importance of covering his CGM transmitter and sensor with over tape.
