Hello and welcome back! Welcome to this dream trip to Bass Rock (Scotland) for this Gannet photography adventure! After 3 long years of waiting due to bird flu and storm damage to the jetty, I finally made it to Bass Rock - home to the world's largest colony of Northern Gannets. This incredible 3 hours photography trip was booked through the Scottish Seabird Centre (https://www.seabird.org) in North Berwick (£150 per person) and it was absolutely worth the wait! With perfect weather and ideal conditions, I had the unforgettable experience of getting up close (while always respectful of their space) to these magnificent seabirds. Being surrounded by thousands of gannets in such a dramatic, natural setting was truly breathtaking! On this trip I was testing out some different equipment including the Fujifilm XF500mm and 16-55mm II - both performed great and provided some new angles in my wildlife photography. I hope you enjoy the adventure! Wild x *All content on this channel is copyrighted to Victoria Wild (Copyright ©2022 - 2025 Wild and Free Victoria. All Rights Reserved).
