In old LCD/LED TV Poor or bad image problem may occur after few years. When this type of problems comes we have to change gamma IC . If ic part number is not same we can search equivalent IC from broken screen (source PCB) or scrap. Then check configuration of VCC and ground pin of IC. If it is found similar we can use gamma IC to solve this kind of problems.But this method is not applicable for all IC.
