Böhme Tumultus Trumpet Overview - Excited to Be a Dealer for These Amazing Horns!

I'm so excited to be opening as a dealer for these incredible trumpets from Klangwerkstatt Martin Böhme! I've been checking out a couple versions of the Tumultus model over the last couple days and I'm seriously impressed. After working for some of the best makers in Eurpoe (Egger and Alexander) Martin started his own company, Klangwerkstatt [sound workshop] Martin Böhme, in 2015. His trumpets are absolutely world class! My friend Mike Rodriguez told me about these trumpets and I knew I wanted to offer them to my customers. I really like the minimalist point-to-point bracing, reverse tuning slide, and the .460" bore MAW valve block from Meinlschmidt. The horns have incredible components, impeccable build quality, and sound absolutely fantastic. I'm finding that the articulations with these ML bore MAW valves are a bit crisper than on some of the horns I've played with the large bore MAW blocks. They still have the same really smooth, agile feel though. This video is a comparison of the two different bell options in yellow brass, but they also come in red brass. Personally I prefer the M bell but some of my employees prefer the L bell. It all depends on what you like, and the great thing about a custom horn is that you can get the one that will be ideal for your own particular needs and preferences.
