“Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds: how intergenerational activities can impact health and wellbeing in older adults” Intergenerational activities have been shown for many years to be beneficial to both older adults and children. Whilst previously confined only to academic circles, the BAFTA nominated Channel 4 TV show Old People's Home for 4 Year Olds showed the benefits of intergenerational activities, and has gone on to be reproduced internationally. During this webinar, two experts from the show, Dr James Brown and Professor Zoe Wyrko, talk about the background to intergenerational activities, what the evidence base is and what impact the 10 week intervention had on older adults in series 2. This webinar was jointly organised by the Biochemical Society and the BSRA as part of the Metabolism of Ageing meeting.
