Long-time friends and fellow poets Saul Weisberg and Tim McNulty converge for an evening of poetic exchange. These two poets, each with deep histories in the ecological and literary communities of the Pacific Northwest, will be reading together live via Zoom. Saul Weisberg is the co-founder of North Cascades Institute and former executive director, as well as a published poet and a seasoned naturalist, conservationist, and educator. His poetry highlights the frank and surprising moment-to-moment phenomenon of life in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Tim's tenure as a writer and environmentalist in the region began in the 70's and his career has included essays, poetry, and natural history books. He has won the Washington State Book Award, the National Outdoor Book Award, and the Washington Governor’s Writers Award. His poetry brings the reader into contact with the strength, vulnerability, and mystery of the natural world.
